The Art of Saying No!

Some days ago i had gone to Lower Parel for my medical checkup..and then while coming back..i had to stand in ticket queue as i did not hav a return ticket..and a when i was about to reach the window...a man came from side and asked the person who was ahead of me to take his ticket too...and the person refused to do so...i was surprised...then he asked me and i dint know how..but even i refused...the man was annoyed and went away to go to the last position in the row...
the man ahead of me turned back and said.."saale line nahi laganeki inko..seth hai na.."
it got me kicked back into past...when i was in 11th..new to trains..just two minths into local trains..and someday i had to go to dadar...and my college pass was upto parle..so i had to buy a ticket..and i was standing in line...when i was about to reach window...a woman came to me asking me to get her two tickets to santacruz...i was so small and was new to this stuff i couldnt refuse...and i took the money and bought her tickets too...it was her two single tickets to santacruz and my return for dadar...and i gave her tickets and returned her money and was pretty happy with myself that i had done something good in the morning so there will be something good waiting for me in the day...the woman and son had left..and now i glanced at my ticket and i was shocked to see that..i had given them my ticket and i retained one single ticket to santacruz...i ran like mad through the overbridge to go the platform quickly and started finding them...i was so annoyed with myself...when i was tired and had given up..i found them standing at end of platform waiting for their train..i went to them and told them my idiotic story and took back my ticket...i was so relieved...i dunno whether i succeded in watever i was goin for in Dadar...but i came to know how inability to say no can cost you high...
there was another incident..i was in a shop to buy somethin...i was in 12th or around that age..so i was small...and i had never before gone to such big shop without my mom and dad...and i saw some items..now it was my misbelief that whenever u see something in the shop..u ought take somethin from there..otherwise it doesnt look good...and when the shopkeeper pressurised me by showing many varieties i couldnt say no..and though i had decided to buy somethin else from some other place..i unnecessarily bought something from the shop...and after that obviously i recd some Prasad from my mom and dad..
the art of saying no can really cost you high..this was another chapter in my lesson for life...and third and conclusive chapter came when i was doing my fest...when we were negotiating for artist fees for pronites...the party was trying to pressurise us for higher fees..but i wasnt really comfortable with the fees..but as i was this bad with saying no...i was not able to tell them no on face...fortunately..i had two guys with me who were firm enough so my job was easier...and finally we succeded...
when this thing passed i decided to change myself..i started by saying no to some grocers around then to some big shops...and then finally this railway station incedence came..when i always become uncomfortable as i remember the woman incident...and the person ahead of me gave me the power to say no by his firm no...this was the effect on me that i suddenly came out of my shell and could firmly resist...
these people are really shrewd as they pick only those who are vulnerable..they know exactly who cant say no...this is another art...but in this post we are discussing only Art of Saying No...
so i just advice u all that i am n the verge of getting mastery in it...so u guys also start practising it..it is of immense help in outer world..expecially after our college days are over...!!!!!!!!

The "... " (three periods followed by a space) is a valid construct in nearly all languages. It makes for some interesting styles too - the written matter looks as if it has been laid down directly from the writer's stream of consciousness. No reason to quibble over it.

I love the ellipses points... It's as if there's more to come... As Bhute said: It's LIVE... Straight from the head! ;-)

Of course, it lacks the definitive bang of a full stop.
